Dicentra is a genus of eight species of herbaceous plants with oddly shaped flowers and finely divided leaves, native to eastern Asia and North America. Luxuriant has cherry red flowers that consistently appear throughout the summer. Nice blue-green ferny foliage. Heat tolerant and hardy. Will grow to 12 inches and prefers full to part sun. Will need cut down at the end of the season.
