Helianthus or sunflower is a genus of plants comprising about 70 species. Except for three species in South America, all Helianthus species are native to North America. Happy Days golden flowers that are 3 1/2 to 4 inches with an anemone like center. Short ray petals on purple well branched stems. Will grow to 24 inches and prefers full sun. BUTTERFLIES LOVE THEM!! Will need cut down at then end of the season. (Available in June)
