Youth baseball arm injuries are at epidemic levels. Elbow surgeries that used to be reserved for professional pitchers are now happening to kids in middle school. Tommy John surgery. Little Leaguer's Elbow. Shoulder growth plate stress fractures.
None of it is inevitable. Almost all of it is preventable.
The HPL Baseball Athlete Foundation Program was built by Coach Sean Wade — nearly 20 years of coaching experience — around one mission: give young baseball players the physical preparation the sport demands, so their arm can do what their talent is capable of.
This is a 4-week, parent-guided training system for baseball players ages 10–14. Four days a week. Built around four pillars that matter more than anything else in youth baseball development:
Rotational Power — Med ball work, hip loading, and the side step and throw pattern that directly transfers to bat speed and throwing velocity. Hip-driven, not arm-driven. The way it's supposed to be.
Overhand Arm Health — A complete arm care protocol built specifically for the overhand throwing motion. Band external rotation, band Y, scapular stability, sleeper stretches, UCL protection work, and forearm pronation training. Everything the throwing arm needs and almost never gets.
Speed & Agility — The 5-10-5 drill, first-step sprints from a fielding stance, reactive agility, and sprint mechanics. The athleticism that separates good players from great ones.
Hip & Core Strength — The engine of every throw and every swing. Single-leg strength, hip mobility, and core anti-rotation work that protects the lower back through a full season.
What's inside: — A complete 4-week progressive training plan built around baseball movement patterns — A full baseball injury profile covering the 6 most common injuries — what causes them, what to watch for, and how this program prevents them — USA Baseball pitch count reference guidelines built into the program — A sport-specific warm-up guide with the biomechanics behind every drill — A full overhand arm care protocol — shoulder, UCL, elbow, and forearm — Progress tracking with baseball-specific performance benchmarks — Liability and safety guidelines for parent-guided youth training
Your son loves this game. This program protects that.
Train for baseball. Protect the arm. Play longer.
