HPL Blaze Program A 6-Week Sprints & Hurdles Transition System $47 — Instant Digital Download

The gap between high school and college sprints and hurdles isn't about who wants it more — it's a gap in raw speed of execution. College acceleration off the blocks, top-end mechanics at full speed, and race-pace hurdle rhythm all move faster than most high school training ever demands. Athletes who show up unprepared for that jump don't just run slower — they get hurt, because the hamstrings and hip flexors that were never trained for that load are the first thing to give out.

The HPL Blaze Program is built to close that gap before it costs a roster spot.

Six weeks. Five sessions a week. Built around what actually separates HS speed from college speed:

  • Acceleration & Block Starts — drive-phase mechanics through the first 10–30m, the single biggest college-readiness gap for HS sprinters
  • Max Velocity & Sprint Mechanics — upright top-end mechanics, flying sprints, and explosive power work
  • Recovery & Prehab — the day most sprint programs skip. Hamstring eccentric strength (Nordic curls) and hip flexor/ankle mobility, built specifically around the injury that ends more college sprint careers than anything else
  • Speed-Endurance — longer high-intensity reps that model the back half of the race, where most races are actually decided
  • Hurdle Technique & Rhythm — trail-leg/lead-leg drills and race-pattern consistency at competition spacing

Two benchmark checkpoints — Week 3 (College-Ready) and Week 6 (Blaze Benchmark) — measure 30m fly time, speed-endurance pace, hurdle rhythm consistency through a full flight, AND hamstring eccentric strength via Nordic curl hold time. A program that only makes an athlete faster while leaving them one strain away from the injured list isn't actually working — this one tracks both.

Who it's for: High school sprinters and hurdlers heading into college track & field who want to walk onto campus already speaking the language of college-level speed — not learning it the hard way in their first collegiate training block.

What's included:

  • Full 6-week, 5-day/week training calendar
  • Block start, acceleration, and max-velocity protocols
  • Hurdle-specific rhythm and technique work
  • A complete recovery system: hamstring eccentric strength, hip flexor/ankle mobility
  • Two benchmark testing days with clear pass/repeat criteria
  • Equipment and safety guidance
