Polygonatum, also known as King Solomon's-seal or Solomon's seal, is a genus of flowering plants. In the APG III classification system, it is placed in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Nolinoideae. Variegatum has green leaves with a creamy yellow edge that matures to white. White flowers dangle over the leaves. Will grow 18 to 24 inches and prefers woodland type settings.
